Scotsman NW Series Dice Cube Machines

Scotsman Dice IceThe shape of dice cubes provides maximum liquid displacement making this type of ice cube ideal for general purpose cooling of drinks. They can be made very quickly and are ideal for outlets needing high volumes of ice, such as fast food outlets.

Also a great general purpose ice cube used throughout the hospitality industry, dice cubes are available in three different sizes; half dice, dice and large dice to any application.

The ‘softer‘ texture of dice ice makes it the ideal ice for blended smoothies and cocktails as it smashes quickly without putting excessive strain on blender bearings.

Water is poured over the surface of a vertical evaporator grid plate with each cube forming in a cell on the grid. This is the most cost-efficient system where volume is the prime importance. The machine is compact and therefore requires less floor space than a machine with a horizontal evaporator.

Scotsman NW Series modular dice ice machines can be paired with a wide range of storage bins in a variety of shapes and capacities making the NW Series a customisable ice solution for busy food service operation.

Scotsman NW Series – Dice Cube Ice Machine

This commercial dice ice cube machine produces 6 classic side ice cube. Its greater surface for heat exchange allows drinks to be chilled in an instant.

The vertical evaporator technology guarantees large ice production at a lower operating costs.

Suitable and highly appreciated in QSR and coffee chains applications.

  • Back-in & top-out air flow (22” models): Do not require space to be left on either side of the machine.

  • Head only ice maker: Requires separate storage bin to store ice made.
  • Produces half and full ice cube sizes.

Scotsman Ice Machine can be paired with a range of storage bins in variety of shapes and capacities. As a result, the NW Series was acknowledged as a customized icemaker solution for a busy food service operation.

The Scotsman EcoX Range ice-making equipment operates on either R290 (Propane) or R744 (Carbon Dioxide) natural refrigerants (model dependant).

It has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) value of 3 or less. Making it fully compliant with both current and forthcoming F-Gas regulations.
